Terms of Use


Before confirming a reservation, we recommend that you read the following terms and conditions carefully.

The present Terms of Use details the rights and obligations of HolidayFV and of all clients.

HolidayFV: Represents the legal entity or natural person managing the accommodation facility aimed at offering short term rentals;

Guest: Represents the individual who makes a reservation for the accommodation facility managed by HolidayFV;

Property: Refers to the accommodation facility object of the short rental and managed by HolidayFV.


Reservation and Payment

Booking Procedure: The reservation will be considered confirmed upon receipt of advance payment by the Guest of the specified amount. Prices include full cleaning of the property before and after the arrival and departure of each guest, weekly change of beddings and bathroom towels, maintenance of the property, cost of water, electricity, gas, internet, customer service during office hours;

Payment: HolidayFV accepts payment by credit card or PayPal.


Cancellation and Refund Policies

Free Cancellation: HolidayFV allows free cancellations up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date. If, due to circumstances, the apartment is not available for occupancy, HolidayFV reserves the right to move you to an alternative accommodation with similar characteristics at no extra cost. If for any reason we are unable to relocate you or provide you with alternative accommodation, the reservation will be cancelled and a full refund will be made. However, if a reservation is cancelled due to causes attributable to the guest or his personal circumstances, the reservation fee will not be refunded.

Full Refund: In the event of a cancellation made within 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, HolidayFV will guarantee a full refund of the amount paid, except for any transaction fees;

Method of Refund: The refund will be made by bank transfer to the bank account indicated by the Guest.


Deposit

In order to guarantee the reservation, a deposit is required against damages by means of a pre-authorisation on a credit card, the details of which (number and expiry date) will be provided no later than the check-in date, by telephone call or in person. The pre-authorisation shall expire no later than 8 days after the end of the stay, provided that no anomaly, breakage or defect is found in the property, furniture, appliances or other items during the inspection. If such defects are found, these will be deducted from the refund of the deposit. We reserve the right to use all or part of the deposit to cover the cost of any repairs or replacements we have to make. The deposit may vary from property to property.


Property Rules

Rules of Use
We want our guests to enjoy their stay. We ask everyone to maintain respectful and social behaviour, both in the house and with the neighbours. In the unfortunate event that there is a well-founded complaint about the behaviour of one of the guests, HolidayFV may intervene by cancelling the booking, with no refund expected and requesting the immediate evacuation of the property.

In general, we kindly ask to avoid the following:

  • Damage furniture or property;
  • Move the furniture unless after specific request allowed;
  • Make noise beetween 22:00 and 08:00 in the apartment or in the common areas;
  • Disturb neighbours when opening/closing doors, carrying suitcases, etc.;
  • Have parties;
  • Organize illegal activities on the premises;
  • Smoke in the property (violating this rule results in a fine of the total deposit amount);
  • Bring pets into the property.

Number of guests
The maximum number of guests allowed in an apartment is stated in the descriptions of each accommodation. It is not allowed to use the accommodation for a number of guests higher than what is stated on the booking confirmation. Failure to comply with this rule may constitute grounds for termination of the contract and reserves the right, if deemed necessary, to expel guests not confirmed in the original booking.

Please bear in mind that:

  • HolidayFV reserves the right to remove the guest(s) without refund if the property rules are not followed;
  • HolidayFV cannot be held responsible in case of theft or accident in the property;
  • HolidayFV cannot be held responsible for noise generated by urban works, road works, alterations or construction of new buildings and other nuisance caused by external factors;
  • HolidayFV cannot be held responsible in case a specific property is not suitable for occupation due force majeure causes;
  • Some apartments or features may be changed, replaced or removed at any time without prior notice.


Complaints
Should you have a complaint during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can intervene immediately. HolidayFV will not accept any claims made after the stay. We will always do everything in our power to resolve any complaint that may arise as efficiently as possible.


Responsibility

  • HolidayFV takes no responsibility for lost or misplaced luggage, theft, damage or accidents not related to the management of HolidayFV itself. The guest agrees to make good use of the rented accommodation, thereby exempting HolidayFV from any liability; the guest may be responsible for damage caused intentionally or otherwise by improper use of the proprety;
  • HolidayFV reserves the right to update any of these terms at any time if required in accordance with its activity;
  • Protection of users’ personal data by HolidayFV is in accordance with the Spanish Law 15/1999 on the protection of personal data, we inform you that your details are kept in the file for which HolidayFV is responsible, the purpose of which is to manage the property;
  • The online booking of user services is voluntary with the provision of personal data (henceforth ‘personal data’) whose sole purpose is to complete the booking;
  • Customers may exercise the rights of access, opposition, rectification and deletion of data by writing to info@holidayfv.com. HolidayFV guarantees that it has taken appropriate security measures in its facilities, systems and files. It also guarantees the confidentiality of ‘personal data’, but discloses to the competent authorities ‘personal data’ and other information in its possession or accessible through its systems and is required under the laws and regulations applicable to this case.
  • System users online reservation guarantee and, in any case, the veracity, accuracy, validity and the authenticity of the ‘personal data’, and adhere to keep HolidayFV informed.


Applicable law and jurisdiction

  • These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law;
  • HolidayFV and users to resolve any dispute that may arise regarding their validity, execution or termination, in whole or in part, are submitted, expressly waiving their own jurisdiction or others that may, where appropriate, be applied to the jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Las Palmas.
  • This contract constitutes the full and complete agreement between HolidayFV and the user.
